Visitors to Windsor who would like to use an electric mobility scooter are welcome to visit the spacious, purpose-built new Windsor Shopmobility home which opens on Monday 23 July 2012.
Situated in the Alma Road coach park, the new Shopmobility location offers easy access for elderly and cautious drivers in a street level car park. It’s conveniently close to Alexandra Gardens and the River Thames with three routes into the town centre.
The new site comprises two high quality cabins, one providing office space and sufficient room for customers to sit and wait for a Dial a Ride vehicle or taxi if required. The other will house at least 20 scooters with ample electrical points for charging.
Adjacent to the cabin are 10 accessible parking bays which are separated from the public parking for convenience and safety.
