Day 1 - Travel to Lancashire for an evening with “Elvis”
Arrive at the 4 star Mercure Dunkenhalgh Hotel and Spa late afternoon in time for tea and biscuits, whilst enjoying the hotels excellent facilities.
Enjoy a great 3 course dinner and live entertainment in the ballroom with your host DJ Richard Chapman and his special guest Marcus Hallows, an Elvis Presley tribute, sit back and re-live the Kings greatest years.
Day 2 – Steam Train (optional) and Shopping followed by an evening with “The Rat Pack”
Step back in time for a nostalgic journey on a full size steam train (optional). Enjoy the 8 mile scenic journey along the Irwell Valley from Rawtenstall to Bury whilst remembering the sights, sounds and smells of a time gone by. Take an afternoon visit to the world Famous Bury Market, recently voted one of the best markets in Britain. Return to the hotel late afternoon.
Enjoy a great 3 course dinner and live entertainment in the ballroom with your host DJ Richard Chapman and his special guest, Mr Ray King, with a tribute to those masters of swing, the Rat Pack.
Day 3 – Return Home or enjoy our “Sunday Special”, an evening with “Tom Jones”
Enjoy a morning visit to the popular Oswaldtwistle Mills, a shopping emporium of ladies and men’s fashion, footwear, giftware and crafts all housed in an old Lancashire textile mill. Afterwards, depart to see the stunning scenery around Pennine Lancashire with a local guide, heading north to the Pendle Hills, and hear the sad tale of Alice, Elizabeth and Anne who were accused, tried and found guilty of witchcraft in 1612. Return to the hotel late afternoon.
For those taking advantage of the 1 night special offer, why not enjoy a scenic drive through the Lancashire countryside, before sampling the excellent leisure facilities at the hotel.

In the afternoon take in a scenic tour of the Cotswolds villages including Chipping Camden where we will take a break and the village of Broadway, known as the Jewel of the Cotswolds. Return to the hotel for dinner.
