The GTOA is an independent organisation representing the interests of those who organise tours and trips for groups as well as those who provide services for group travel.
The Asociation has over 200 supplier members that provide GTOs with information on everything from tours, hotels and destinations to museums, galleries, gardens and attractions.

The Houses of Parliament to host a 'Visit Parliament' Afternoon

The Houses of Parliament are hosting a ‘Visit Parliament’ afternoon on Thursday 30 April and GTOA members are welcome to join this invitation-only event.
The afternoon will be an excellent opportunity to sample Parliament’s audio tour through the Lords and the Commons. Highlights include the majestic Lords Chamber, the Commons Chamber with its famous green benches, Members Lobby which is dominated by Churchill’s statue and the oldest part of the building, Westminster Hall. The audio tours are offered in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian and Mandarin.
In 2015 the Houses of Parliament are commemorating two significant anniversaries; 800 years since the sealing of Magna Carta (1215) and 750 years since Simon de Montfort’s first parliament (1265). During the afternoon visitors will be able to view the colourful banner exhibition ‘The Beginnings of that Freedome’ which lines the walls of medieval Westminster Hall (but only until November). Optional guided tours around Westminster Hall and the exhibition will be available.
The Houses of Parliament has recently introduced an attractive range of unique gifts and souvenirs. The Jubilee Shop and Café just off Westminster Hall which will be open throughout the Visit Parliament afternoon.
